Markus was born and raised 1981 in the beautiful south of germany, living in his adopted home of Hamburg since 2001. Big love for Franzbrötchen!
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg, attended Wim Wenders‘ film class and got supervised by Pepe Danquart for his diploma with distinction. Nominated for one of the most important European camera awards in the documentary film category, published book author he’s also teaching media design at the university as well as being a certified coach for his own film & photography workshops & masterclasses.
Working as a freelance film and photography professional as well as a creative producer. Specialized in giving unique exposure to brands & people. In love with still & moving images. Light magician. Owner of the Rocket Studio in St. Pauli, Hamburg.
